These people and treats are exquisite. A wonderful hidden hole in the wall for authentic Chaldean (look them up) treats. My mom and I often order the kelecha (Iraqi date cookies, or with walnuts, or plain) and they are like my immigrant grandmother used to make—just delicious. My mom likes the t’kathra pusra (meat pies) and even I as a vegetarian find their cheese and rosemary bread delicious (especially warmed at home in the oven). Five stars for the food, and full stars to the people that work there.

We have been ordering from Gold N Oven Bakery for over 7 years now. Since I live in another state, we usually place our orders two days in advance. We have never had a single complaint — the staff is always wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. The food is consistently fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, and the place is exceptionally clean. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, and they are always happy to adjust items based on our requests. I truly can’t say enough about how happy we are and how lucky we feel to have found this place.

Wow is all I can say. I am not Chaldean or Mediterranean so I have never had any of these foods before but, wow! The flavors! Tried this unassuming bakery on a whim, was SO surprised and pleased with the food.I think I bought two of almost everything. I came in looking for burek and the long burek was something different than I know and almost curried-flavor. What a yummy concept! Tried the little flat pies, such intense flavor in the spreads. My heart- and stomach- however, belong to the fish platter I bought. White fish baked in tomatoes and onion, with rice, OMG what a flavor delight! We will definitely return.

This place used to make good quality food some 5 years back but no longer unfortunately. I stopped by yesterday for some Meat dough, Burek, Kubba, there was nothing to buy! Backery cases were empty, only meat dough and some kubba. I ended up with buying poor quality meat dough and kubba for $57, the guy said no burek available because it is Sunday!! Never going back to this bakery.
